Crowdfunding and Sanriku Oysters

クラウドファンディングという言葉をご存知でしょうか。

不特定多数の人(クラウド)からインターネット経由で資金調達(ファンディング)を行う手法のことを言います。

そう言うと、真っ先に思い浮かぶのはボランティア活動ですが、海外では政治家の政治資金の調達や、ベンチャー企業やミュージシャン、映画制作会社の資金調達にも利用されているようです。

Do you know "crowdfunding"?

It's the collective effort of individuals who network and pool their money via internet.

Crowdfunding is used in support of a wide variety activates,including volunteer activities,startup company funding,support of artiest,and motion picture promotion.

さてそんなクラウドファンディング、日本でも少しずつ一般的になってきていますが、今回、東日本大震災からの復興を目指す三陸牡蠣を支援するクラウドファンディングを見つけたので応募してみました。

And then croudfunding become be known in Japan,and I find crowdfunding that support Sanriku Oysters recovering from the Great East Japan Earthquake.

READYFOR?：復興を応援！三陸牡蠣ノボリ1000本を全国のお店に立てたい

主催されているのは「三陸牡蠣復興支援プロジェクト」を推進されてきた斎藤浩昭さん(株式会社アイリンク社長）です。

趣旨は東日本大震災で失われた三陸牡蠣の販路を取り戻し、かつ新しい販路も獲得する為に、全国の牡蠣料理店やスーパー等の鮮魚コーナーに三陸牡蠣のノボリを立てようと言うものです。

クラウドファンディングには主に「寄付型」、「投資型」、「購入型」の3種類がありますが、このプロジェクトは3,000円、10,000円、30,000円、100,000円の4種類の出資金額に応じて三陸牡蠣産地ツアーや三陸牡蠣をもらうことができる「購入型」のクラウドファンディングになっています。

(応募は2014年1月26日まで。応募できるのは日本在住の方となります。）

This crowdfunding is organized by Mr.Hiroaki Saito who promotes "The Save Sanriku Oysters Project".This crowdfunding's purpose is making banners of Sanriku Oysters and set up these banners in front of Oysters restaurants and supermarket's fish corner, and will extend the market for Oysters.

If we invest in this crowdfunding,we can get Sanriku Oysters etc.

(The application deadline is Jan.26,2014. An applicant must have residence in Japan.)

また、集金に利用されているREADYFOR?は日本初のクラウドファンディングサービスで、これまで社会起業家の資金調達に数々の実績を残してきています。

クラウドファンディングと社会起業家が起こす新しいビジネスの形に注目していきたいです。

This crowdfunding is using READYFOR?,a first crowdfunding platform in Japan,and it delivered social entrepreneurship's funding results so far.

I am watching new business style that crowdfunding and social entrepreneurship make.

STRETCH

最近、ストレッチ専門店が増えてきていますね。
今回、東京飯田橋駅前にあるDr.ストレッチ神楽坂店に行ってみました。
Recently stretch speciality stores increase.
I went to Dr.STRETCH,a stretch speciality store near Iidabashi Station in Tokyo.

時間は30分から60分。一人のトレーナーが付いて、マンツーマンでストレッチを行い、筋肉をほぐして伸ばしていきます。
This shop's menu's time is between thirty minutes and sixty minutes and we can carry out stretching exercise with one instructor.

今回は上半身のみにして、30分のコースを選択しました。
最初は肩甲骨周りの筋肉をほぐします。
体が固いと少し筋肉に痛みが走ります。
その後、徐々に筋肉を伸ばしていきます。
30分終わった時には肩甲骨周りが少し柔らかくなり、腕を組んで頭の後ろに回した時に少し後ろまでいくようになりました。
I  choose the upper body's 30 minutes course this time.
At first we took the stiffness out of my shoulder.
If muscle is stiff,we have muscle plain.
After thirty minutes my shoulder's muscle became a little soft,my arms became able to turn behind my head a little.

最後に自宅でもできるストレッチを教えてもらって終了です。
基本的にスポーツジムで行うストレッチと同じですので、マッサージと異なり、翌日に筋肉痛になったりすることもあるそうです。
At last I was taught stretching we can do in my house.
This shop's stretching is the same as sports gym's stretching and we'll have sore muscles tomorrow.

筋肉をほぐせば肩こりや腰痛の改善にもなるそうですので、スポーツをする人以外も行ってみるといいかもしれませんね。
I recommended this shop people that don't play sports because relieving muscle tension improves a stiff shoulders and a backache.

The Sea

11月に東京目黒にオープンした伊東昭義美術館に行ってきました。
I went to Akiyoshi Ito Art Museum opened in Nov.2013 in Meguro,Tokyo.

伊東昭義さんは「美ら島沖縄大使」と言われるだけあり、この美術館にも多くの沖縄の美しい海中の写真が展示されています。
沖縄の海は本当に色彩豊かです。
Mr.Akiyoshi Ito is called an ambassador of beautiful island of Okinawa and this museum exhibits a lot of beautiful sea's pictures.
Okinawa's sea is very colorful and beautiful.

もう一つ今年海に関連して話題になったのはDolphin Swimeer 鈴木あやのさんの「イルカと泳ぐ」でした。
And then there was a topic of sea this year in Japan. It's Ms. Ayano Suzuki,a dolphin swimmer and she published a collection of photographs called "Iruka-To-Oyogu"(Swimming with Dolphin).

この写真集では至近距離から取られたイルカの素顔や、あやのさんとイルカが並んで泳ぐ美しい姿が話題になりました。
This book was in the news this year because it publishes dolphin's face's photos taken at close range and beautiful photos that she and dolphins was swimming together.

私もダイビングを趣味にしていますが、海中に潜ると、魚達の自然の中の行動を見ることができるのでとても感動します。
これからも海中で素敵な発見をしていきたいと思います。
I have a taste of diving and I am impressed with fish's natural action in the sea.
I'll find wonderful discovery in the sea.

Book Scan

先日、引っ越しするにあたってそれまで持っていた書籍の一部をPDF化しました。
(いわゆる"自炊"ですね）
I converted my books to PDF when I moved house.

自分で行うのは大変だったので渋谷にあるBOOKSCANという会社にお願いしました。
早速、iPadに取り込んでみましたが、通常の電子書籍よりも読みやすいように思います。
But book scanning is difficult for an individual person and I ask BOOKSCAN,a  company in Shibuya,Tokyo to do book scanning.
After scanning,I downloaded these PDF to my iPad and I 'm satisfied with these PDF because these are easily to read than normal electric books.

現在のところiPadの書籍リーダーを使用しても、さすがに紙の書籍よりは使い勝手は落ちるのですが、自宅の本棚を外出先に持ち出せるという利便性はそれ以上のメリットをもたらしてくれます。
Of corse these are not easily to read than paper's books even if I use book reader on iPad,but these bring the convenience that I go outside with a lot of books.

さて、以前、一部の作家がスキャン代行業者を著作権侵害で提訴していましたが、愚かなことと言わざるを得ません。
現在、電子書籍が徐々に広がりつつある中で、紙の書籍と電子書籍をつなぐこのサービスは、既存の書店の生き残りを支援する可能性があるものです。
最初、書店で紙の書籍を購入し、その後、スキャンサービスを使用して電子化するという流れができれば、電子書籍の時代が到来しても書店が生き残る手段となるのではないかと思います。
その為にもこういう新しいサービスが現れるたびに著作権者が過剰に反応しないこと、業者側が不正複製等の違法行為をしないことを求めたいと思います。
In Japan some copyright holders brought a case against some book scanning companies and I think copyright holders are wrong.
Book scanning will bring means of serving to bookstores because if book scanning will spread,some people buy paper's books and  do book scanning when electric books spread all over the world.
I want that copyright holders don't regard with hostility  toward new business like book scanning, and book scanning companies don't do acts of dishonesty like coping without permission.

William Turner

東京上野の東京都美術館でターナー展を鑑賞しました。
I came to Turner exhibition held by Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Ueno,Tokyo.

イギリスの画家、ジョゼフ・マロード・ウィリアム・ターナーは海と船を題材とした印象的な絵画で知られていますが、初期の作品にはイギリスやイタリアの風景を題材にした写実的な絵画もあり、私はそちらも好きです。
Joseph Mallord Willium Turner was a British artist and he was usually associated with impressive paints of ship and sea,but he painted a lot of realistic paints of landscape of Britain and Italy in his early days and I like both.

この展覧会ではそんなターナーの絵画が時系列で楽しめます。
ターナーは多作の画家ですが、一つ一つの絵の緻密さに驚かされます。
デザインに携わる者なら一度見ておきたい展覧会です。

We can see Turner's a lot of pictures by his age at this exhibition.
Turner painted a lot of pictures and I'm surprised by there elaborateness.
I recommend this exhibition to designers.

My New Hometown Kagurazaka(神楽坂)

この11月に東京神楽坂に引っ越しをしました。
I moved to Kagaurazaka,Tokyo in Nov. this year.

神楽坂は趣のあるお店が並ぶレトロな雰囲気が漂う町です。
Kagurazaka has some tasteful restaurants and shops and it has retro atmosphere.

一方で、気軽に立ち寄れるファミリーレストランや喫茶店も多い町でもあります。
On the other hand there are some restaurants and cafes allowing a user to freely drop in.

ファミリーレストランは東西線神楽坂駅から徒歩5分圏内にガスト、ジョナサン、デニーズの3店舗があります。
There are three inexpensive family restaurants,gusto,jonathan's and dennys and there are 5 minutes walk from Kagurazaka station.

喫茶店はいろいろありますが、以下のお店がお勧めです。
There are a lot of cafes in Kagurazaka and I recommend below.

1.神楽坂駅付近にあるCopain。
  最近リニューアルオープンしました。
  This pic is Copain, a cafe near Kagurazaka station.It reopened recently.

イチゴのショートケーキとブレンドコーヒーのセットがお勧めです。
I recommend a strawberry shortcake and blend coffee.

2.こちらも神楽坂駅付近にある珈琲館。
This pic is Coffee-Kan,a cafe near Kagurazaka station.

お勧めはワールドサイフォニストチャンピオンシップの世界チャンピオンがブレンドしたというチャンピオンズブレンドと・・・
I recommend Champion's Blend Coffee that World Champions on World Siphonist Championship thank・・・

フルーツミックスジュースです。
and a fruit mix juice.

こうやって見渡すと神楽坂はビジネスのアイデアを練るのにもいい町だと思います。
起業の拠点にするのもいいかもしれませんね。
I think Kagurazaka is suitable for thinking idea for new business.
Kagurazaka is good town for startup,isn't it?

Autumn In Nagano,2013

すっかり秋景色となった長野に出かけました。
秋の長野は一面紅葉ですごく綺麗です。
I went to Nagano Prefecture in autumn.
I could see the autumn leaves all over the mountain in Nagano and it's very beautiful. 

長野県諏訪市の霧ヶ峰高原です。
雄大な景色です。

It's magnificent!

向かって左から八ヶ岳連峰、富士山、南アルプス。 
富士山は肉眼だともっとはっきり見えます。

On this pic's mountains are,the left as one faces, Hachigadake mountain range,Mt.Fuji and the South Alps from Kirigamine Heights. 
We can see Mt.Fuji more sharply with the naked eye.

富士見台のお土産屋さん。
It's a souvenir shop in Fujimidai of Kirigamine Heights.

今回お土産に購入したのは野沢菜のお茶漬けと信州味噌。
信州味噌はこうじが通常の味噌の1.5倍だそうです。
I bought Nozawana's chazuke and Shinshu Miso.
※Nozawana is a variation of turnip.
Shinshu Miso has malted rice 1.5 times as much as normal miso.

ビーナスラインから国道142号線へ出て軽井沢へ。
しかし軽井沢近辺の道は渋滞している為、信濃追分駅からしなの鉄道に乗って軽井沢入り。
I moved to Karuizawa City by Venus Line and Route 142.
But roads near Karuizawa City was delayed and I changed to a train of Shinano Railway from a car at Shinano Oiwake Station and I entered Karuizawa by this train.

今回宿泊したのは上諏訪温泉にある「ルーピアイン南湖」です。
上諏訪温泉は無臭無色で温度は高めでした。
いい温泉で旅の疲れがすっかり取れました。
I stayed Lupia in Nanko, a Kamisuwa hot spring's hotel.
Kamisuwa hot spring's water is colorless and odorless.
II removed my tiredness of my trip by this nice hot spring.

Let's enjoy Sports Car

さて11月の三連休に、トヨタMR-Sをレンタルして紅葉の長野へと出かけました。
I went to Nagano Prefecture at the time the leaves turn in autumn and I drove TOYOTA MR2 Spyder.

MR-Sはオープン2シーターのスポーツカーで、1トン弱の軽量ボディ,ミッドエンジン・リアドライブ、6速マニュアルから生む出されるシャープなハンドリングを楽しむことができました。
MR-2 Spyder is a two-seat open sports car and I enjoyed this car's good handling by light weight,mid-engined,rear-wheel-drive and 6 speed manual transmission.

大自然の中をオープンカーで走るのはとても爽快です。
Driving a open car in the middle of Mother Nature is exhilarating.

この車は千葉県の「おもしろレンタカースポーツ」でレンタルしました。スポーツカーは日常的な足として使うには不便なことも多いので、こういった行楽時のみ使用できる様に、スポーツカーを扱うレンタカー事業者が増えてくれるといいなーと思います。
I rented this car this time and I hope car rental agents that deal sports cars increase because a sports car is unsuitable for daily life and suitable for excursion.

Windows 8.1 Update

10月17日 MicrosoftよりWindows 8.1がリリースされました。
Windows 8ユーザーはWindowsストアから無料!でアップデートができます。
ということで早速アップデートしてみました。
October 17th,Microsoft starts rolling out Windows 8.1.
Windows 8.1 is available to download from Windows Store for Windows 8 User .

なお、Windows 8からWindows 8.1へのアップデートにはWindows 8にKB2871389が適用されていることが条件になっています。
WindowsストアにWindows 8. 1アップデートが表示されない場合は、まずWindows Updateでパッチを適用します。
If Windows 8.1 Update is not displayed in the Windows Store on Windows 8,you need to execute Windows Update to install KB2871389.

KB2871389が適用できたらWindowsストアから「Windows 8.1に更新」を選択します。
You execute "Update to Windows 8.1" in the Windows Store after installing KB2871389.

そうするとダウンロードが始まり、自動的にアップデートが行われます。
ファイルサイズが大きい為、だいたい3時間前後かかります。
And Windows 8.1 Update starts,the upgrade take about three hours because file size is big.

ダウンロード終了後、再起動を行うと設定画面が起動します。
After the upgrade download complete and reboot,Windows 8.1 Setting starts.

途中でユーザー認証がありますが、二段階認証が採用されています。
There is user authentication on the way and it uses two-way authentication.

設定を完了するとWindows8.1へのアップデートは完了です。
Update to Windows 8.1 is completion when you complete setting.

アプリを分割表示したところ

左上をクリックすると起動しているアプリを一覧表示できます。
We can see listing apps when we click on upper-left corner.

デスクトップ。左下がスタートメニュー。
Desktop.Start Menu is on bottom-left-corner.

Windows 8.1の目玉はBYOD向け機能の強化と開発者向けのAPIの強化です。
これからいろいろと試してみたいと思います。
Windows 8.1 provides functions of BYOD and new APIs for developer.
Let's try it.

FRENCH TOAST

東京神楽坂で見つけたフレンチトーストの美味しいお店「CaFE × BaR SHIMADA CAFE」です。
This pic is FRENCH TOAST provided by "CaFE × BaR SHIMADA CAFE",Kagurazaka,Tokyo.

ソースは全部で7種類ありうち3種類を選ぶことができます。
今回はイチゴ、ブルーベリー、バナナを選択しました。
ふっくらと焼けたフレンチトーストとの相性は抜群です。
There are 7 kinds of FRENCH TOAST's sauce and we choice 3 sauce once time.
I choose strawberry,blueberry,and bananas.
These sauce go well with puffy FRENCH TOAST.

店内も神楽坂らしい落ち着いた雰囲気のオシャレな内装になっています。
コーヒーとフレンチトーストを味わいながらゆっくりするのもいいですね。
This shop has a relaxed atmosphere and fashionable desks and chairs, and it is suitable for Kagurazaka.
It's good to enjoy the time while having coffee and FRENCH TOAST.
