神奈川県鎌倉市の由比ヶ浜にできたカリフォルニア料理店「FARM TO YOU」に来ています。
I went to "FARM TO YOU",a California cuisine restaurant in Yuigahama,Kamakura City,Kanagawa Prefecture,Japan.

このお店はすぐそばを江ノ電が通ることで有名です。
We can see Enoshima Electric Railway close by this restaurant's terrace.

さて、こちらはこのお店のディナーメニューです。地元鎌倉の食材をたっぷりと使っています。

Kamakura Coffee Kobo(鎌倉珈琲香房)

鎌倉駅から由比ヶ浜方面へ歩いている時に見つけたコーヒー店「鎌倉珈琲香房」です。
I found a coffee shop,"Kamakura Coffee Kobo" during walking from Kamakura Station to Yuigahama.

こちらがこのお店の「ブラジルブレンド」です。
店主がとても丁寧にドリップしてくれます。
This picture is Brazilian blended coffee.
This shop's master makes it politely.

またこのお店ではコーヒー豆の販売も行っています。
This shop also sells coffee beans.

The Best Spot to Photo of Enoshima Electric Railway(江ノ電のベストショットポイント)

藤沢と鎌倉を結ぶ江ノ電こと江ノ島電鉄。
湘南の海沿いを走る素敵な列車です。
Enoshima Electric Railway runs from Fujisama to Kamakura and it is nice train running along a sea side.

その江ノ電のベストショットポイントとして有名なのが、鎌倉高校前駅のすぐそばの踏切です。
人気漫画「スラムダンク」のアニメ版のオープニングでもここの踏切を江ノ電が通るシーンが入っていて、今ではたくさんの観光客が訪れる名所となっています。
The best spot to photo of Enoshima Electric Railway is a crossing near Kamakurakokomae Station.

This area was used by hit Japan annimation "Slam Dunk" and many tourists is visiting here now.

これは踏切の反対側から撮った所。
This picture is taken the counter side of crossing.

 

また、踏切のすぐ近くの海岸からは江ノ島や由比ヶ浜・逗子が見渡せます。
There is coast near crossing and we can see Enoshima Island,Yuigahama and Zushi.

Kencho-ji(建長寺)

明月院に続いて建長寺を訪れました。
I went to Kencho-ji after Meigetsu-in.

建長寺は開基を鎌倉幕府5代執権 北条時頼、開山を大覚禅師こと蘭渓道隆(らんけいどうりゅう)とする臨済宗建長寺派の大本山です。
さすがに歴史を感じる大きな建物が多いです。
Kencho-ji is a Rinzai Zen temple of the Kencho-ji school and it was built by Hojo Tokiyori,the fifth shikken(regent) of Kamakura shogunate and Lanxi Daolong,a Zen priest.
It has many big and historic buildings.

総門
Sou-mon(First gate)
門に書いている「巨服山(こふくさん)」が建長寺の山号です。
This gate's signboard is written "Kofukusan" and it is mountain name of Kencho-ji. 

三門
San-mon(Main gate)

仏殿
Butsu-den(Buddhist sanctum)

法堂
Ho-dou(Lecture hall)

方丈
Hojo(Abbot's quarters)

これは建長寺で購入した禅Tシャツ(2,000円)です。
なかなか着心地はいいですよ。(^o^)/
I bought Zen T-shirt for 2000 yen at Kencho-ji.It is comfortable.

ちなみに「けんちん汁(建長汁)」は建長寺が発祥と言われています。
It is said that Kenchinjiru started from Kencho-ji.
