ESTACiON Fukuyama

JR福山駅の改札口そばにある「エスタシオン福山」で昼食を頂きました。
I ate lunch at ESTACiON Fukuyama, a restaurant near the ticket gate of JR Fukuyama Station.

こちらが「エスタシオン福山」のランチ定食です。メインはハンバーグとカニクリームコロッケでした。このランチ定食はドリンク付きで870円でした。
This is lunch set of ESTACiON Fukuyama.It's hamburg steak and crab cream croquette.Its price is 870 yen(including drink).

Fukujyukaikan(福寿会館)

福山城公園の敷地内に福寿会館があります。
There is Fukujyukaikan in Fukuyama Castle Park.

福寿会館は和館と洋館および日本庭園から成っています。
Fukujyukaikan has the Japanese-style residence, the European-style residence  and Japanese garden.

洋館には喫茶室「茶処ばら」があります。
「茶処ばら」では窓から庭園と福山城天守閣を見ながら食事ができます。
There is "Chadokoro Bara",a cafe in the European-style residence.
We can eat and drink seeing Japanese garden and Fukuyama Castle's castle tower at "Chadokoro Bara".

こちらは「茶処ばら」の抹茶と和菓子のセット。500円です。
This is dark green tea and Japanese sweets set of "Chadokoro Bara". It is 500 yen.

食べ終わった後は庭園をゆっくりと眺めるといいでしょう。
It is good to walk around Japanese garden after drinking and eating.

Fukuyama Castle(福山城)

広島県福山市で途中下車しました。
JR福山駅のすぐ前には五重の天守閣を持つ福山城があります。
I stopped at Fukuyama City,Hiroshima Prefecture on the way home.
There is Fukuyama Castle, a Japanese Castle which has five-story castle tower, in front of JR Fukuyama Station. 

福山城は大坂夏の陣や島原の乱で活躍した水野勝成により築城されました。
天守閣は第二次世界大戦で焼失し、昭和41年(1966年)に再建されました。
ただ諸処の事情により現在の天守閣は江戸期の天守閣とは異なる外観となっています。
Fukuyama Castle was built by Katsushige Mizuno, a lord who served Summer Siege of Osaka and Shimabara War.
Fukuyama Castle's castle tower was burned down in the Second World War and it was rebuilt in 1966.
But the appearance of current castle tower is different from it which was built in Edo Period.

It's the view of Fukuyama City from Fukuyama Castle's castle tower.

Miyajima(宮島)

さて久々に日本三景、広島県の宮島(厳島)に行きました。
厳島神社、大聖院にお参りした後は、紅葉谷からロープウェイで弥山(みせん)へ。
今日は天気も良くいい景色が見れました。
I went to Miyajima Island,Hiroshima Prefecture,Japan for the first time in a while.
I visited Itsukushima Shrine and Daishoin Temple, and I rode the rope way from Momijidani to Misen.
It was fine today and I saw beautiful view.


UNESCO世界遺産、厳島神社。
朱色が綺麗です。
This is Itsukushima Shrine,a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This Shrine's red is very beautiful.

厳島神社の名物、海上の大鳥居。
The torii gate on the sea is a famous buildings of Itsukushima Shrine.

大聖院。
Daishoin Temple.

大聖院へ上がる階段の側にある茶屋で頂いた抹茶ともみじ饅頭のセット。
渋めのお茶と甘い饅頭がマッチしています。
I drank green tea and ate Momiji Manjyu at Japanese Cafe near Daishoin Temple's stairs.
Green tea's better taste matches Momiji Manjyu's sweet taste.

平松茶屋からの眺め。
厳島神社も五重塔も見えます。

I can see Itsukushima Shirne and five-storied pagoda.

ロープウェイで紅葉谷から弥山へ。
I went to Misen from Momijidani by the rope way.

紅葉堂の新名物、揚げもみじ。
かりっとした外側と中の饅頭の組み合わせがすごくいいです。
This is Agemomiji,a new sweets of Momijido.
The combination of fried outside and sweet inside are delicious.

Miyajima's Anago(宮島の穴子)

さて広島宮島と言えば穴子の名産地として知られています。
今回は宮島口駅前にある穴子丼の名店「あなごめし うえの」に行って来ました。
明治34年から続く老舗です。
Miyajima,Hiroshima Prefecture is famous for production of anago(conger eels).
I went to "Ueno Anagomeshi",a famous anago(conger eels) restaurant near Miyajima-guchi Station.
It was opened in 1901.

これが名物の穴子丼です。
穴子はとても柔らかくて食べやすく、美味しかったです。
This is Anago-don(boiled conger eels and rice balls),a famous food of Miyajima.
This conger eels are very soft and it is very delicious.

宮島に行かれた際にはぜひご賞味下さい。
Let's eat Anago-don when you go to Miyajima,Hiroshima Prefecture.
