Kyu-Iwasaki-tei Gardens(旧岩崎邸庭園) Part 1

上野公園の近くにある旧岩崎邸庭園に行きました。
I went to Kyu-Iwasaki-tei Gardens near Ueno Park in Tokyo,Japan.

江戸時代に越後高田藩・榊原氏の屋敷があった敷地に、明治29年(西暦1896年)に三菱財閥岩崎家本邸として建築されたものです。
This grounds were owned by the Sakakibara family of the Echigo Takada Clain in Edo Perido and the estate of Mitsubishi family was made in 1896. 


こちらの洋館は英国人建築家ジョサイア・コンドルによる設計による木造2階建・地下室付の本格的ヨーロッパ建築です。
This European-style residence was designed by Josiah Conder,a British architect and it is a two-story building constructed wood that also has a cellar.

洋館の前には見事な芝生が広がっています。
There are nice lawn grasses in front of the European-style residence.
