道後公園内にある子規記念博物舘に来ました。
ここでは松山生まれの俳人正岡子規の資料を展示しています。
I went to The Shiki Museum in Dogo Park,Matsuyama City,Ehime Prefecture,Japan.
This museum has items of Shiki Masaoka,a Japanese poet who was born in Matsuyama in Meiji Period.
また、子規の友人である夏目漱石や高浜虚子の資料もあります。
一般にはあまり知られていない若い頃の漱石の写真もあります。
And this museum has items of Soseki Netsume and Kyoshi Takahama,Shiki's friends.
There is a picture of young Soseki that is unknown to the public.
正岡子規は松山に野球を紹介した人物としても有名です。
放生園の近くには野球のユニフォーム姿の子規の像が立っています。
Shiki Masaoka also introduced baseball to Matsuyama citizens.
There is a statue of Shiki wearing baseball uniform.
子規記念博物舘がある道後公園は室町時代に河野家の居城「湯築城」(ゆづきじょう)があった場所でした。
現在は広大な公園となっていて桜の季節には多くの人でにぎわいます。
Dogo Park was Yuzuki Castle in Muromachi Period and The Kono clean was the lord of Yuzuki Castle.
At present,Dogo Park is a big park, and a lot of people come to Dogo Park when cherry blossoms are full bloom.
公園内には復元された土塁と武家屋敷もあります。
There are repaired clay walls and warriors residence in Dogo Park.
