世界的には個人所有のスマートフォン・タブレット端末の業務利用が進んでいますが、現在、Preview版が公開されているWindows 8.1とBeta版が公開されているiOS7でもBYOD向けの機能が目玉になっていますね。
BYOD(Using personal device at work) spreads worldwide and Windows 8.1 and iOS7 will provide some good functions of BYOD.

日本の企業ではBYODがあまり進んでいませんでしたが(新興企業では結構進んでいますけどね)、これを切っ掛けに大きく進むことを期待しています。
特にWindows 8.1に搭載されるされる予定のWorkplace Join、Work Folders、リモートからの企業データの削除といったセキュリティ機能の強化は、経営者やIT管理者にBYODの導入の決断を促すことができるのではないでしょうか。
