Coffee Shop in Tsukiji

魚市場とお寿司屋さんで名高い東京築地で老舗のコーヒーショップを見つけました。
I found an old-established coffee shop in Tsukiji,a famous place of fish markets and sushi restaurants in Tokyo.

築地場外市場近くの晴海通り沿いにある「米本珈琲本店」です。
This is YONEMOTO COFFEE SHOP along Harumi street near Tsukiji Outer Market.

中に入ると「相棒」の杉下右京似のマスターが迎えてくれます。
コーヒー豆を購入して帰る事も、店内で珈琲を味わう事もできます。
ブレンドコーヒーを飲みましたが、とても濃厚で美味しかったです。
This shop is run by a nice master.
This shop sells coffee beans and serves coffee in shop.
I drank blended coffee and it was rich taste.

このコーヒーショップの周りは高名なお寿司屋さんでいっぱいです。
お寿司の後にコーヒーというのもいいですね。
There are some famous sushi restaurants around this coffee shop.
It is nice to drink coffee after eating sushi.

Tokyo garden jewelry 2015

東京の日比谷公園で開催されている「日比谷公園ガーデニングショー」に行ってきました。
I went to "Tokyo garden jewelry 2015" held at Hibiya Park,Tokyo.

噴水の周りでガーデンコンテストが開催されていました。
どれも素敵な庭ですね。
Gardening contest was held around fountain in the park.
These gardens are good.

 

またガーデニングの講習会も開催されていました。
A lecture class of gardening was held.

お庭を緑で飾ってみるのもいいですね。
It is good to decorate garden with plants.

AnyTokyo 2015

10/24から11/3まで、増上寺の光摂殿で開催されている「AnyTokyo 2015 Diversity&Beauty」に行ってきました。
I went to "AnyTokyo 2015 Diversity&Beauty",a event held at Zojoji temple Koshoden between October 24 and December 3.

このイベントでは新進気鋭のクリエイターによる次世代の家具・雑貨等のデザインが展示されています。
色彩の美しさだけでなく、使い勝手も考慮したデザインになっています。
This event has next generation design of interiors and products designed by young and energetic creators.
These works have both beautiful colors and good usability.

Miyajima's Anago(宮島の穴子)

さて広島宮島と言えば穴子の名産地として知られています。
今回は宮島口駅前にある穴子丼の名店「あなごめし うえの」に行って来ました。
明治34年から続く老舗です。
Miyajima,Hiroshima Prefecture is famous for production of anago(conger eels).
I went to "Ueno Anagomeshi",a famous anago(conger eels) restaurant near Miyajima-guchi Station.
It was opened in 1901.

これが名物の穴子丼です。
穴子はとても柔らかくて食べやすく、美味しかったです。
This is Anago-don(boiled conger eels and rice balls),a famous food of Miyajima.
This conger eels are very soft and it is very delicious.

宮島に行かれた際にはぜひご賞味下さい。
Let's eat Anago-don when you go to Miyajima,Hiroshima Prefecture.

Farmer's Market@UNU

東京青山の国連大学前で毎週土日に開催されているFarmer's Market@UNUに行って来ました。
I went to "Farmer's Market@UNU" held in front of United Nations Universtiy,Aoyama,Tokyo every Saturday and Sunday.

全国各地の農家が、野菜、フルーツ、ジュース・珈琲・ワイン等の飲み物を出展しています。どれも新鮮ですごくいいです。
A lot of farmers sell very fresh vegetables,fruits and drinks - fruit juice,coffee and wine etc.

RIMPA the 400 Anniversary(琳派400年)

本日は東京恵比寿の山種美術館で開催されている「琳派と秋の彩り」展に行って来ました。
I went to "The Rimpa School and Autumn Colors in Japanese Art",a art event held by Yamatane Museum of Art,Ebisu,Tokyo.

琳派とは本阿弥光悦と俵屋宗達によって創設され、尾形光琳、酒井抱一を軸に発展した一連の芸術家一派を言います。
今年、2015年は本阿弥光悦が京都洛北の鷹峰に"芸術村"を開いてから400年にあたる為、全国各地で琳派400年を記念した企画展が開催されています。
The Rimpa school is Japanese painting's school created by Koetsu Honami and Sotatsu Tawaraya, and it was developed by Korin Ogata and Houitsu Sakai in Edo period.
This year,2015 is 400th year since Kouetsu Honami opened an artiest community at Takagamine in northeastern Kyoto and there are some events of Rima school in Japan.

この山種美術館の「琳派と秋の彩り」展では、俵屋宗達の下絵に本阿弥光悦が和歌を記した絵巻や、俵屋宗達、酒井抱一、鈴木基一達の美しい絵画が展示されています。
This event has a picture scroll - Soutatsu Tawaraya drew picture and Koetsu Honami write Japanese poety - and beautiful pictures drew by Soutatsu Tawaraya,Houitsu Sakai,Kitsu Suzuki etc.

また琳派は現代まで継承されており、東山魁夷、加山又造といった現代の芸術家の絵画も展示されています。
The Rimpa school continues to this day and this event has pictures of modern artists,Kaii Higashiyama,Matazou Kayama etc.


芸術を見終わった後は、山種美術館の入り口付近にある和カフェ「Cafe椿」で和菓子と抹茶をどうぞ。
Let's eat Japanese sweets and drink powdered tea at Cafe Tsubaki,a Japanese cafe near the entrance of Yamatane Museum of Art.

山種美術館の「琳派と秋の彩り」展は2015年10月25日まで開催されています。
"The Rimpa School and Autumn Colors in Japanese Art" are held until October 25,2015 at Yamatane Museum of Art.

Senjojiki(千畳敷)

山口県長門市の千畳敷です。
日本海に面した向津具(むかつく)半島の付け根部の頂上に広がる草原です。
I went to Senjojiki,Nagato City,Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Senjojiki is a grassy plain located on the top of the root of Mukatsuku Peninsula.

千畳敷から眺める日本海。快晴の日は美しいブルーの空と海が広がります。
This is the view of Japan Sea from Senjojiki.
We can see beautiful blue sky and sea when it is fine.

千畳敷にはカントリーキッチンという喫茶店があります。
There is country kitchen,a cafe in Senjojiki.

カントリーキッチンのフルーツワッフル。
とても美味しいです。
This is a fruits waffle served by country kitchen and this is very delicious.

山口県の日本海側に来られた際にはぜひ立ち寄ってみて下さい。
I recommend this place if you will go to Yamaguchi's Japan Sea Area.

Yamaguchi's baker

さて最近、山口県では石窯を持ったパン屋さんが急速に増えています。
今回は特に人気の「石窯パン工房suenosato(須恵の郷)山口店」に行って来ました。
Recently,bakers using stone oven is increasing in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
I went to "Ishigamapankobo Suenosato",a popular baker in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

石窯で焼きたてのパンはとても香ばしくて美味しいです。
このお店の一番人気のクリームパンです。
This baker serves freshly breads baked in stone oven.
The smell of breads were well and these breads were very delicious.
This baker's most famous bread is Creampan(custard cream based).

このお店では珈琲を無料で飲むことができます。
This baker's coffee is free.

一度、石窯のパンの味を覚えると、繰り返し食べたくなります。
I love breads baked in stone oven and I want to eat these again.

The autumn in Tokyo

10月の3連休の最終日、東京は快晴でした。
増上寺、浜離宮をめぐり、最後は水上バスでお台場海浜公園へ。
東京の秋を満喫しました。
The final day of October 3 weekend was fine weather in Tokyo.
I went to Zojoji temple,Hama-rikyu Garden and I went to Odaiba Marine Park from Hama-rikyu Garden on a water-bus.
I enjoyed autumn in Tokyo.

増上寺の境内にある東照宮です。言うまでもなく徳川家康公を祀っています。
This is Toshogu-Shrine in Zojoji temple.Toshogu-Shrine enshrines Shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa.

増上寺と東京タワー。おなじみのツーショット。
Zojoji temple and Tokyo Tower.They are symbol of Tokyo.

増上寺では現在、徳川将軍家の墓所の拝観ができます。
Zojoji temple is opening Mausoleum of Tokugawa Shoguns now.

増上寺から浜離宮恩賜公園へ移動。今の季節は自然が綺麗です。
I went to Hama-rikyu Garden from Zojoji temple.Hama-rikyu Garden has pretty nature now.

浜離宮恩賜公園の中にある「中島の御茶屋」では和菓子と抹茶が頂けます。
Nakajima-no Ochaya in Hama-rikyu Garden serves Japanese sweets and powdered green tea.

水上バス(東京水辺ライン)で浜離宮恩賜公園からお台場海浜公園へ移動します。
レインボーブリッジの下を通ります。
I went to Odaiba Marine Park from Hama-rikyu Garden on Tokyo Mizube Cruising Line,a water-bus.
A water-bus runs under Rainbow Bridge.

お台場海浜公園着。浜離宮恩賜公園からは約20分で到着します。
I arrived at Odaiba Marine Park.It took twenty minutes from Hama-rikyu Garden.

お台場海浜公園は今日も人が一杯です。
There are a lot of people in Odaiba Marine Park.

お台場海浜公園の水上バス乗り場の近くに本格的なピザを出してくれるお店がありました。
I found a restaurant serving authentic pizza near Odaiba Marine Park boarding point.

Art Line Kashiwa

10/1から11/3まで千葉県柏市で「アートライン柏」というイベントが開催されています。
芸術に関連する様々なプログラムが開催されています。
Art Line Kashiwa,an art event in Kashiwa City,Chiba Prefecture is holding between October 1 to November 3.
This event has many art programs.

10/4は「ライブイベント30vs30」というプログラムが開催されていました。
学生達が柏駅前の商店街で、絵画を描いています。
Live Event 30vs30,a program of Art Line Kashiwa held on October 4.
Many students drew pictures at shopping street near Kashiwa Station.

これは子供達が道路に描いた絵。
とても上手です。
These are paintings on road drew by children.
These are very nice.
