Japanese Western-Style Paintings

今日は東京上野の東京都美術館で開催されている「伝説の洋画家たち - 二科100年展」に来ています。
I’m watching Japanese Western-style paintings(Yoga) in Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum,Ueno,Tokyo now.

明治以降の日本の洋画家達によって描かれた絵画を一堂に集めた展覧会です。
人物画、風景画ともに力強いタッチで描かれており、画家の気迫が感じられます。
This exhibition has many paintings painted by Japanese legend artists.
These works were drawn forcefully and I feel spirit of artists.

個人的には岸田劉生、佐伯祐三の力強い絵、藤田嗣治の美しい色の絵が特に好きです。
日本の方はもちろんですが、日本を訪れた外国人の方に特に見て頂きたい展覧会ですね。
I like strong pictures painted by Ryusei Kishida and Yuzo Saeki,and beautiful color’s pictures painted by Tsuguharu Foujita.
I recommend this exhibition to visitors to Japan from abroad.
