Ceylon Tea

本日、沖縄スリランカ友好協会からセイロンティーが届きました。
スリランカは紅茶の輸出量世界一の国です。
セイロンはスリランカの旧国名ですが、現在も紅茶はセイロンティーと呼ばれています。
Today,I receive some Ceylon teas from "Okinawa Sri Lanka Yukou Kyoukai"(association of Okinawa Sri Lanka friendship)
Sri Lanka is the highest tea exporting country of the world.Ceylon is the old name of Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka's tea is called Ceylon tea now.

今回届いたのはDIVERSITEAというブランドで、以下の代表的なセイロンティーが入っています。
Brand of tea that is received this time is DIVERSITEA and 7 types of Ceylon tea are in it.

DIMBULA(ディンブラ紅茶)
NUWARA ELIYA(ヌワラエリア紅茶)
RUHUNA(ルフナ紅茶)
KANDY(キャンディー紅茶)
UDA PUSSELLAWA(ウダプエラワ紅茶)

早速、NUWARA ELIYAを頂きました。
ストレートティーで頂きましたが、非常に風味豊かです。
苺のショートケーキとぴったりあう味ですね。
I drink NUWARA ELIYA Straight.It is very fruity taste and it is suitable for a strawberry shortcake.

今回この紅茶を送ってくれた沖縄スリランカ友好協会は、沖縄とスリランカの友好親善の為に設立された団体です。
最近はスリランカの水道整備の支援もしているそうです。
Okinawa Sri Lanka Yukou Kyoukai(association of Okinawa Sri Lanka friendship) was established for friendship between Okinawa and Sri Lanka.
Recently it supports to develop Sri Lanka's waterworks .

Book Store With Cafe

本日は東京、神楽坂駅前の「かもめブックス」で、雑誌を読みながら、ゆったりとコーヒーを飲んでいます。このお店は本屋とカフェが一体になっていて、購入した本を読みながらお茶することができます。
Today,I am reading books and drinking coffee in Kamome Books,a book store and cafe near Kagurazaka Station,Tokyo.
This store has a lot of books and serves delicious coffee.

店内は以外に広くいろんなジャンルの本があります。
This store is wide unexpectedly.

ドリップコーヒーは3種類ありましたが、今日はエチオピアストレートにしました。少し酸味が効いていて、美味しいです。
This store has three types of drip coffee, and I choice "Ethiopia Straight" today.It has an acid taste and it is very delicious.

Trip to Shimane Part 2 - Izumo

さて松江市と並ぶ島根の名所といえば出雲市です。
出雲市には、ご存知、出雲大社があります。
Izumo City is famous places of Shimae Prefecture as equal as Matsue City.
There is Izumo-taisha Shrine in Izumo City.

一般には「いづもたいしゃ」と発音されますが、正式には「いづもおおやしろ」と呼ぶそうです。
古事記にある「国譲り」神話に登場する大国主大神(おおくにぬしのおおかみ)を祀っています。また縁結びの神様である大黒天も祀っていて、縁結びの神社としても有名です。
Izumo-taisha is also called "Izumo Oyashiro".
This Shrine dedicated to the god Okuninushi,famous as Japanese myths and it is dedicated to Daikoku-ten,famous as deity of marriage too.

2008年より御本殿を修復する「平成の大遷宮」が行われていて、2016年に完了します。
2013年には大国主大神が修復された御本殿にお戻りになる「御本殿遷座祭」が執り行われています。
"Heisei Daisengu",Izumo-taisha Grand Shrine's major restoration is doing from 2008 to 2016.
At the senzai-sai ritual ceremony  on 2013,the spirit of the god Okuninushi was brought back to the restored Honden.

また、出雲の名物といえば出雲そばです。
割子そばになっていて、3つの割子に入っている物を三色割子、5つの割子にはいっているものを五色割子と呼びます。それぞれに卵、ネギ、とろろ、もみじおろしといった薬味がのっています。
Izumo-soba is a famous food of Izumo City.Soba is Japanese noodle.
Izumo-soba is put in three or five small container.Egg,green onion,grated yap soap and momiji oroshi are in it as condiments.

出雲そばの名店はいっぱいありますが、私は出雲大社近くにある「八雲」をおすすめします。
I recommend Yakumo,a Izumo-soba restaurant near Izumo-taisha.

Trip to Shimane Part 1 - Matsue City.

さて本日3月22日、広島と島根をつなぐ尾道松江線「中国やまなみ街道」が全線開通しました。
今回はそれを記念して、島根の観光スポットをご紹介します。
第一回目は島根の県庁所在地である松江市の紹介です。
Today is March 22th,2015 and Entire Hiroshima to Shimane Route reopens today.
I  will introduce tourist spots of Shimane Prefecture serially.I introduce Matsue City,a capital of Shimae Prefecture this time.

松江市と言えば、最近はテニスの錦織圭選手の故郷として有名になってきましたね。
そんな松江市のシンボルと言えば大きくそびえ立つ松江城です。
Matsue City is becoming famous as native place of Kei Nishikori,a Japanese professional tennis player.
A symbol of Matsue City is Matsue Castle.

松江城の天守は江戸時代に建立したものが残っている現存12天守のうちの一つです。
Matsue Castle's castle tower remain their original parts in Edo Period.

そんな松江城の堀を小型の遊覧船で一周する「堀川めぐり」がおすすめです。
松江城の堀って本当に大きいです。
I recommend "Horikawa Pleasure Boat",a sightseeing Matsue City by boat on Matsue Castle's moats.
Matsue Castle's moats is big and wide.

モーター付きの遊覧船で一周するのにおよそ30分かかります。
ところどころで、亀が甲羅干ししていて、微笑ましかったです。
It is 30 minutes to sail around Matsue Castle's moats by boats with motor.
We can watch turtles luxuriating in the sunshine and it's nice.

松江城とならぶ松江市のシンボルと言えば宍道湖です。
しじみが良く穫れることで有名ですね。
また、宍道湖の夕陽はすごく綺麗なことでも知られています。

Another symbol of Matsue City is Lake Shinji.
Lake Shinji is famous as habitat of Corbiculidae.
And it is famous for beautiful sunset.

さて、松江市で食事をするなら「しゃぶしゃぶ ろんぢん」がおすすめです。
My recommendation of Matsue's restaurant is "Ronjin",a shabu-shabu(beef hot pot) restaurant.

変わった店名はもともと時計屋だったからとのこと。
The origin of this restaurant's name is that this restaurant was a clock store in the old days.

松江市付近で宿泊するなら玉造温泉がおすすめです。
ほんのりと硫黄の匂いがして、肌がすべすべになる抜群の泉質です。
写真は玉造温泉にある長楽園の120坪の大露天風呂です。
Tamatsukuri hot spring is near Matsue City and it is very nice.
This hot spring's water smells sulphur and it is slimy.
This picture is Chorakuen's large bath and Chorakuen is a hotel in Tamatsukuri hot spring.
