Awa Dance in Kagurazaka Festival(神楽坂まつりの阿波踊り)

東京神楽坂では毎年7月後半に神楽坂まつりが開催されます。
そのハイライトとして阿波踊り大会が行われます。今年は7月25日、7月26日に開催されました。
Kagurazaka Festival is held every latter half of July in Kaguazaka,Tokyo.
Awa Dance Festival is held as the highlight of Kaguraza Festival.It was held at July25 and July26,2014.

阿波踊りでは踊りのグループのことを「連」といいますが、今年は2日間で40前後の連が参加しました。
The group of awa-odori dancing is called "ren" and over 40 rens joined this festival for two days this year.

一つの連の中では子供踊り、女踊り、男踊り、鳴り物の順に行進します。
Children,woman,man and music group were dancing in tern.

神楽坂通りで多くの人が見物している中を、大きな掛け声と踊りが披露され、大変盛り上がりました。
Dancer were shouting and dancing along Kaguraka Street that a lot of people were viewing.Awa dance are a lot of fun.

Masterpieces from the Musee d’Orsay

東京六本木の国立新美術館で開催されている「オルセー美術館展 印象派の誕生-描くことの自由-」を鑑賞しました。
I went to ”The Birth of Impressionism - Freedom in Painting:Masterpieces from the Musee d’Orsay” held in The National Art Center,Tokyo.

印象派の写実的な風景画、人物画はとても綺麗で、私は大好きです。
Landscapes and portraits of Impressionism are realistic and beautiful.I love them.

今回の展覧会の白眉はエドゥアール・マネの「笛を吹く少年」ですね。
The best picture of this exhibition is “The Fifer” painted by Edouard Manet.

それとカロリュス・デュランの「手袋の婦人」もいいです。
And “Lady with a glove” painted by Carolus-Duran is nice,too.

この展覧会は10月20日までの予定で開催されています。
This exhibition is held until October 20.

Ayu(鮎)

さて6月になって鮎が解禁になり、スーパーマーケットの鮮魚コーナーにも鮎が並ぶ様になりましたね。
鮎料理と言えば、私は山口県の長門峡(ちょうもんきょう)にある「竜宮茶屋」をおすすめします。
In July the ayu season has opened and we can see an ayu in seafood corner of supermarket.
※The ayu is an amphidromous fish and it lives in rivers,lakes and costal waters of Japan to Korea,China,Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
If you want to eat the ayu cooking,I recommend "Ryugujyaya",an ayu restaurant in Chomonkyo Gorge,Yamaguchi Prefecture,Japan.

長門峡は萩市と山口市阿東町を結ぶ全長12kmの峡谷です。
阿武川と断崖が作り出す景色がとても美しい所です。
Chomonkyo Gorge is located between Hagi City and Ato Town,Yamaguchi City and it is 12km in length.
The scenery of Abugawa river and bold cliffs is very beautiful.

この阿武川で採れた天然の鮎の料理を提供しているのが「竜宮茶屋」です。
長門峡を萩市側から入って3km程度歩いたところにあります。
Ryugujyaya provides ayu of Abugawa river and it is located 3km in length from Hagi City.

これが名物の竜宮定食です。
定番の鮎の塩焼きと珍しい鮎の刺身が付いています。
This picture is "Ryuguteishoku",a famous food of this restaurant and grilled ayu seasoned with salt and sliced ayu are in it.

鮎の季節は6月から10月にかけてです。
新鮮な天然鮎の料理を味わってみてはいかがですか。
The season of ayu is between July and October.
Let's enjoy eating fresh natural ayu.

The Japanese Tea Shop

東京神楽坂にある日本茶の専門店"神楽坂銘茶 楽山"を訪れました。
I visited "Kagurazaka-Meicha Rakuzan", a Japanese Tea Shop in Kagurazaka,Tokyo.

このお店ではお昼時になると店頭でほうじ茶を絞っています。
10m離れている場所まで、すごく香ばしい匂いが漂ってきます。
This shop makes Houjicha in front of it at lunchtime.
We can smell the pleasant-smelling aroma of Houjicha even if we stand 10 meters from this shop.

これが作り立てのほうじ茶。
This pic is Houjicha just after the making.

お湯を入れるとすごく香ばしい匂いがします。
Houjicha is smelled the pleasant-smelling when we put the hot water into the tea pot.

もちろん緑茶もたくさんあります。
おすすめは「深蒸し煎茶」。通常の緑茶よりも濃い味がします。旅館で出されるお茶の味ですね。ちなみに写真は「新茶 煎茶 竹印100g袋入り掛川産」です。
Off course,this shop has a lot of green tea.
I recommend the deep-steam green tea. It has more much taste than normal green tea.

5月は新茶の季節。
このような本格的な専門店のお茶を楽しんでみるのもいいですね。
May is a season of the new tea in Japan.
Let's enjoy drinking genuine Japanese tea shop's tea.
