神戸メリケンパークへ移動しました。
赤いタワーが神戸のシンボル「ポートタワー」です。
I came to Meriken Park,Kobe.
The red tower is Kobe Port Tower,a symbol of Kobe.

Tenryu-ji Temple and Bamboo Grove(天龍寺と竹林の道)

さて、京都嵐山の天龍寺です。
天龍寺は後醍醐天皇の菩提を弔う為に、1339年に足利尊氏を開基、夢窓疎石を開山として設立された臨済宗天龍寺派の大本山です。
I went to Tenryu-ji Temple,a major Rinzai Zen temple complex in Arashiyama,Kyoto.
Tenryu-ji Temple was established in 1339 by the Shogun Ashikaga Takauji in memory of Emperor Go-daigo,with the eminent Zen master Muso Soseki as founding abbot.

天龍寺の曹源池です。
It's Sogen Garden in Tenryu-ji temple.

嵐山の借景が見事です。
Autumn leaves of Sogen Garden and Arashiyama are very beautiful.

天龍寺の紅葉はちょうど見頃でした。
Autumn leaves of Tenryu-ji temple were at their best now.

うってかわって、竹林の道は濃い緑で落ち着きます。
A bamboo grove is full of dark green and I relax.

Arashiyama,Kyoto

今週日曜日(12月6日)に京都嵐山を訪れました。
今年は10月が暖かかった為か紅葉が遅れていて、ちょうど見頃を迎えていました。
ゆったりリフレッシュです。
I went to Arashiyama,Kyoto Prefecture on December 6.
It was warm in October this year and autumn leaves in Arashiyama were at their best.
I was refreshed when I saw Arashiyama.

嵐山の象徴「渡月橋」です。
It's Togetsukyo Bridge,a symbol of Arashiyama.

渡月橋の周りにはおしゃれなお店が多いです。
There are many stylish shops around Togetsukyo Bridge.

渡月橋のそばの「琴きき茶屋」で食べたぜんざい。この季節にはぴったりです。
またこのお店は櫻餅でも有名です。
I ate Zenzai at Koto Kiki Chaya,a Japanese cafe near Togetsukyo Bridge.It is good in winter.
This cafe is also famous for Sakura-mochi.

Kobe Kitano Tenman Shrine(神戸北野天満神社)

神戸の異人館「風見鶏の館」のすぐそばに「神戸北野天満神社」があります。
There is Kobe Kitano Tenman Shrine,a Shinto Shrine near Kazamidori no Yakata.

神戸北野天満神社は菅原道真を祀る神社で、平清盛が平安京から福原京へ遷都した際に、京都北野天満宮から勧請したのが始まりと言われています。
Kobe Kitano Tenman Shrine  is dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane and Taira no Kiyomori decated on 1180 as a branch of Kyoto Kitano Tenman Shrine when he moved the capital from Fukuharakyo to Heiankyo in Heian Period.

この北野天満神社ですが、異人館と神戸市街を一度に見渡せることで有名です。
It is famous for the scenery of Ijinkan and Kobe City.
